Meet Your Instructor

My Name is Talesia McCruse and I am the yoga instructor for Happy Choice Yoga. I am a Wife and mother of three. Yoga is where I find peace from the stress of everyday life. The styles of yoga that calls to my energy are Hatha yoga and Yin yoga. I started my yoga journey as a student at Texas A&M University in 2007. I continued my practice alongside other career paths until I became a stay-at-home mom during Covid due to health issues with my first born. My practice continues to guide me in self-acceptance, managing stress, staying physical and being present. I wanted to help other Mom's experience those same attributes so I completed the YogaRenew 200hr YTT program to become a CYT (Certified Yoga Teacher).

I teach to share the importance of self-care, self-love and how embracing a journey of self- healing can bring positivity into your life. I enjoy giving others the tools to calm their mind and release energy that does not serve them through focusing on joy, gratitude and being present in the moment.

All levels are welcome! My practice is a very Gentle approach to the asanas. I give opportunity to modify, if you are new to practice, and offer alternatives for those looking to develop. Gift yourself time to recenter your mind, find peace and release some stress. I encourage you to join me and make The Happy Choice!
